- Automatic gearbox
- Top spec (GL) with air conditioning
- Completely stock and antique registered

- Healthy NA 2. 8L Inline 6 petrol engine

- Original paint: Medium Blue Metallic
- Beautiful condition, never raced or pushed, only used as a weekend cruiser
Car is in sit and drive condition.
Lots of restoration work done to car:
- Vacuum
- Lines
- Distributor
- Brake inspection
- Spark plugs and wires
- Radiator and thermostat
- All belts
- Air condition pipes
- All shock absorbers and suspension parts
- More small bits that I can show in person
Problems:
- A few small bubbles under paint but not much
- small bits of surface rust in some areas, nothing major at all
- Slight discoloration on the material that is on doors and in the trunk (can be seen in pictures)
- Trunk liner needs to be tightened (will also try to get that done before sale)
Trades and offers consideredThe 280ZX offered genuine refinement along with performance. It is a true GT car from the period, and personally I think the 280ZX resembles the Ferrari Daytona, but for a fraction of the price.
Datsun hit the nail on the head with the new, softer touring Z, and Motor Trend named it “Import Car of the Year” when it debuted in 1979. And it is a true joy to drive to this day.
