The interior of the car is in excellent condition. The soft top is mohair with a heated glass window and is also in good condition with no leaks, rips or tears. The exterior is in fair condition for its age and mileage.
This is the cheapest and most honest Mazda MX5 with a valid MOT currently for sale anywhere. The reason being is that the sills and rear wheel arches have succumbed to rust, and will need some welding and replacement panels before its next MOT in April. The car has had some patching done for previous MOTs, but in reality the car would really benefit from having the panels replaced. The car has never been under-sealed like most MX5s have, so everything is plainly visible, with nothing nasty hidden away - it is a very honest car. The front chassis legs look to have been recently done. All of the repair panels are readily available to purchase online. There is a small leak on the power steering as well which needs topping up every couple of trips. I have changed the reservoir but no such luck. Viewing welcomed. Any questions please call any time. Don't be fooled by other cars for sale stating 'no rust', I assure you they will have - all MX5s have rust in them, it comes with the territory. It would be better to repair one knowing that everything was done and treated, rather than buying one that someone had hidden problems away under paint and under seal.
