I have owned this car since 2010. It has been very well maintained and has been serviced regularly. I have always replaced parts as required with genuine BMW / OEM whenever possible. Always warmed up and run on 98 octane premium fuel. I have covered approximately 3500 miles per year in my ownership. It has a very good service history with 20 stamps in the service boolket, the last service being at 156. 550. This included engine/ diff/ gearbox oil/ oil and air filters. Original folder / handbooks and service book present. X2 keys and a folder full of bills/ invoices and paperwork
EXTERIOR
Bodywork is straignt/ no accident damage/ HPI clear. Has various light scratches/ marks. Very shallow dent on drivers door. Small amount of blistering/ paint fade around the registration plate and boot lock. Boot lid edge. Passenger and driver side rear arches a small amount of paint blistering. Some stone chips on front edge of bonnet. These areas are relatively small, not rotten, but will need looking at in the future. The car polishes up well and generally the paint is good. I would re-spray the whole car if I was going to keep it. [SEE PHOTOS of worst areas.]
Soft top is in good condition, was replaced about 8 yrs ago. Lining is good. Rear screen is marked and faded and could do with replacing at some point. It has been very recently treated and waterproofed with Renovo. Treated and waterproofed every year.
It’s manually operated since its change, because the semi automatic was very slow. Both motors are present.
INTERIOR
Is in good condition, leather has patina, it’s free from holes and major wear. Regularly cleaned/ treated. Carpets and orignal over mats are v good. Generally the interior is good with a few marks and scuffs.

Overall a genuinely rare car, that has been enjoyed and looked after. Value will increase if maintained. Drives and handles very well, strong through the rev. range and gear changes are smooth. Brakes well, all 4 tyres are good, car is balanced and planted on the road. It's slightly lower the standard. Still has v good performance for a 28 yr old car.
This is no garage queen, nor is it rotten and abused. It’s a solid car that is sensibly priced with room for someone to improve and enjoy for years to come. I will be sad to see it go.
