2006 Mercedes SL 500 Amg convertible, 74, 000 miles, 12 months mot. I purchased the car in March this year and the log book is in my name, I had been looking round for quite a while for a low mileage car, the bodywork is unmarked, original and no rust showing. The interior apart from some fraying to the drivers seat is in nice condition. I have had to replace the hydraulic pump, front near side shock absorber for mot, and fitted two new tyres to the rear. It has now developed a problem with the electric roof which is currently in the closed position, it will open fine but only closes part way, the height of the car will drop when parked but is ok when engine is running. I have spent in the region of £2700 with a Mercedes specialist doing the work. ( bills to prove )the car would suit a mechanic or somebody with Mercedes knowledge of this particular model, the rest of the car is in immaculate condition with every conceivable extra a beautiful piece of German engineering. I bought it as an investment to appreciate as a future classic and to use during the summer months. The condition of the bodywork is outstanding and the drive and ride superb.
