August 1990 (Facelift) Honda Prelude 2. 0i 16 4WS SE MANUAL.
The SE (special edition) adds Aircon, Leather Interior, 14" Alloy Wheels and a Boot Spoiler to the usual 2. 0i 4WS model.
Thought to be the only remaining SE Manual in Hampshire Green in the UK which was the reason for restoring this car. Nearly everything on the car is new or has been rebuilt so even though the mileage shows 146k (or thereabouts) it's now the closest you'll likely ever get to driving a brand new 3rd Generation Prelude in 2023! Over £16000 has been spent on restoration parts and services alone and this doesn't include around 1000 hours of labour spent working on this car. All the spares (see pics) come with the vehicle so a van or large SUV/ MPV will be needed to take everything away. This is a photo-documented and receipted restoration and comes with an A4 Lever arch files FULL of receipts along with a genuine Honda workshop manual and press pack from back in the day.

Just serviced inc. new fuel filter, air filter, spark plugs, valve clearance checked/ adjusted and fresh 10W40 oil.
Restoration:
Completed around 1000 miles ago.
Full 'glass out' body shell rebuild to cut out ALL the corrosion and weld in fresh metal.
Engine: Removed and fully overhauled/ refreshed by Performance Autoworks:
Head skimmed, cylinders rehoned, valve seats (3-angle) recut. New piston rings, main and bid eng bearings, new thrust washers, Viton intake valve stem oil seals, new ITM bronze valve guides (intake and exhaust), new head gasket, valves relapped, crank checked and polished, new front and rear main seals, new cam seals, upper and lower gasket set etc. Cambelt, tensioner and water pump also replaced.
New injector seats and seals
New rear exhaust and new front flexi down pipe.
New drivebelts (Alternator and PAS)
Body: Bare Metal outer respray (J Abbot Autobodies Northwich) in Honda Hampshire Green (BG26M) as per the original colour
Underside stripped to bare metal and treated with UPOL Gravitex
Subframes stripped, treated and repainted.
New Windscreen

16 x 6. 5" Genuine Enkei RP02 forged wheels powder-coated silver (High Peak Powdercoating) with new Toyo TR-1 tyres (205/ 45/ 16). Wheels were personally imported from Japan and are super-rare in this fitment which is PERFECT for the Prelude being +45 offset.
