1964 - 1966 Elva Mk. VII Chassis & Engine
Price £2, 000 Ono
Located Chippenham, Wiltshire
Elva was a British sports and racing car manufacturer that had its heart set on producing affordable, competitive race cars. The Mk. 7 was the penultimate of the standalone Elva race cars and featured a 1600cc BMW engine.
This Mk. VII chassis was found in a local workshop having been owned by the late Ryan Hodges, a man whose passion for restoring and rebuilding sport racing cars spanned five decades. The chassis was found along with five other racing projects including an almost complete Mk. VII. The chassis requires a clean down before beginning to put it back together and a BMW 2002 engine is included in the sale but will need to be built up. As is common with these types of restorations, the chassis plate has been removed ready for powder coating the chassis. If it is found prior to sale it will be included. This is a race car chassis and is not intended for road use.
