Akront alloy rims;
BSA 8 inch front brake for much better stopping;
two-way damped forks for improved handling;
Triumph shrouds and gaiters;
BSA Gold Star headlamp;
electronic rev counter;
Indian Chronometric copy speedo;
oil pressure gauge;
alloy mudguards;
extended "long" sump (no loss of ground clearance) with capacity increased to 5. 5 pints ;
Borg & Beck sprung centre clutch;
Mikuni VM26 carburettor provides easy starting and reduced fuel consumption;
enlarged and polished ports;
high compression pistons;
12 volt alternator wired negative earth;
Sunbeam S7 silencer;
alloy toolbox (one of only six made);
underseat storage.
The bike is currently in cruising format but a bespoke sprung racing seat, ace bars and a Gold Star-type silencer are included for conversion to the "Cafe Racer" look (see photos).
The bike was the subject of an article in the March 2015 edition of Classic Bike Guide (see photo) and comes with a thick history file.
This machine is in very good condition and is a great-looking, fun-to-ride, take on the Sunbeam S8.
Located in Redhill, Surrey.
