History and lots of paperwork to support. Last serviced at 48, 250 miles May 2022 at Ecosse TVR
Recent new – fuel pump hoses and relays, ECU, gear selector bushes, coil, HT leads, Avon tyres, stepper motor, windows relayed, radiator and silicone hoses. Wheels refurbed and diamond cut 2018. Outriggers replaced in 2018 and chassis is in perfect condition. I purchased this V8S in June last year after an extensive search. A lot of mechanical work had been done to make it just about perfect but on collection the car wouldn’t run which was traced to a dead ECU. As such it was sent to Tornado Systems Ltd. For diagnosis and repair before I was able to get the car home. Since then I have replaced the fuel hoses, pump and relays to cure a priming issue and it now run beautifully. The gear selector bushes were shot so I replaced those (very fiddly job!) so the driving experience is now spot on.
Cosmetically the car I would say was very good considering but it is certainly not perfect. (The hood has been repaired previously and there are some scuffs, but it is purely cosmetic. The interior could be improved if I wanted to make it a £25k+ car but it is for driving not a concours queen.) On the other hand it is not a £14k car with a shot chassis and past it mechanicals. A perfect car to drive and enjoy or improve further if you felt the need.
