Welcome to the sale of my truly exceptional 1981 S1 Talbot Lotus Sunbeam.
Original 2. 2 lotus engine. As one of the final pieces of the puzzle I have had her rolling roaded to finish the set up and incredibly she generates factory power she has not lost any valuable horses. The sound this car makes melts you inside side. The old guy who set her up on the rolling road his exact words were the sound that car makes over 6, 000rpm is
This has been a labour of love to get her back to her former glory. I believe this is the best example to hit the market and in the most desirable colour black with shark grey interior.
Paint work is exceptional and theres no rust or rot she is solid throughout, i have taken sill and arch pictures to show how good she is.
I had the Original Wheels have restored, many have after market wheels but i wanted originality. New exhaust system fitted.
Interior seats are brilliant as you can see.
An S1 in this condition don’t come around very often and a genuine low mileage of 63, 000 miles.
Loads of history to support her.
I was told finding one with no damaged lights, grill and panels are like hens teeth.
Finding a car with a solid shell and floors is a rare find and this is solid, feel the arches the sills the farings boot floor its all solid.
A very desirable car. Also original service books.
I would prefer a straight sale but would consider a px up or down if it helps.
This is a very reluctant sale, i will miss her but house sale is the only thing thats bringing her to the market.
