Very low number of owners. Family owned before me listed as 4 owners including me. The first 3 owners were father son and back to father. Proof of V5 change available.
173, 000 miles with mostly full Mercedes-Benz dealership history only a few specialist and last serviced at Mercedes-Benz in 2021 at 171, 000 miles. This car is exceptionally reliable. I have done 23, 000 miles since 2018 and would not hesitate taking this car on long journeys.
Interior has full grey leather and is in excellent condition. Electric windows and electric sunroof - no leaks. Door cards are not blown like most of this age.
All parts have been original Mercedes-Benz receipts to prove
Very original with no rust issues as the car has been garaged its whole life.
the underneath is solid with no rust on the jacking points. No rust around the window frames especially the rear window and Wheel arch is have no rust
The car has been resprayed as there was some lack appeal and scratches here and there. The paintwork looks very very good pictures to show previous paint and lack appeal
The car comes with a new Bosch battery. 4 new tyres mounted on original 15 inch Cosworth wheels for the MOT.
The original wheels will be supplied in the sale.
Next MOT is due July 2024. Passed with very minor advisories. It has never failed an MOT on anything major or corrosion related.
The car has four electric windows electric sunroof grey leather interior in excellent condition automatic gearbox very very smooth the Gearbox and breaks were serviced in 2018
The car has had all the belts replaced in 2019 the all brake discs, pads and rear brake callipers (original Mercedes) have been replaced
All the original handbooks are present including the original bill of sale showing a purchase price of £28, 529 in August 1990.
Only selling to fund the restoration of my other classic cars. I purchased the car because I previously had a 2. 0 and wanted one with more luxury. I had seen several 2. 6’s before settling on this one with excellent history and condition. The interior was excellent with the leather still soft and the door cards not blown. the engine has been well cared for at main dealer and only some lacquer peel on the body letting it down. The excellent main dealer service history and all original parts made me fall for this car.
This car has been exceptionally reliable and taken me on many long distance family trips and as my daily driver.
