Mercedes Benz 190E LE 2. 0 in Rosso Red. Owned since 2015, FSH, MOT until June 2024, 5+ owners, 99, 700 miles (will go up slightly as its used a few times a week).
The 190 LE was available in three colours only; Azzuro Blue (blue/ purple), Brilliant Silver and Rosso Red (Burgundy). The Azzuro blue coloured cars came with a grey checked cloth interior, the silver coloured cars with a black checked cloth interior and the Rosso Red coloured cars with a biscuit/ cream checked cloth interior. This is a 2. 0 example which comes with rear headrests and front armrest, 4 x electric windows, walnut vernier dashboard inlays as opposed to Zebrano wood that you see on most W201s.
Only 1000 of these "LE" designation cars were built, this one comes with the certificate.
Engine:
The engine runs spot on and benefits from having the following work carried out:
April 23, 99, 200miles:
- Mixture adjustment and retune
- New distributor cap, rotor arm, HT leads, spark plugs
June 2022 98, 700miles:
- Coolant flush
- New rear exhaust silencer
- Brake fluid change
- Engine oil and filter change
- New gear lever bushes (no play in gearstick when changing gears)
May 2021 97, 200miles:
- BOSCH K-Jetronic fuel injection system strip down, cleaned and adjusted (to resolve rough running issue).

4 x Brembo brake discs and pads changed at 96, 800miles
Wheels and suspension:
MB 8 hole, 7J alloy wheels with 2 x Uniroyal and 2 x Continental tyres with good tread
Lowered on H&R springs (still very comfortable)
Exterior:
30 year old car which look like its not had any paint over the years so there are age related marks however overall presentable and gets positive comments wherever its taken. There are rust bubbles developing on N/ S/ F wing, O/ S/ R quarter panel and some lacquer peel on the N/ S/ F door. This is reflected in the asking price, other LEs with similar or higher milage currently listed for £6k+.
Interior:
Interior is tidy, no bolster wear on drivers seat. Original burgundy MB mats. Rear seats haven't been used in my ownership.
