Description
This car was imported from Japan in 2022 and I purchased it in July that year. I understand that it was owned by a medical practice in Japan (from the logbook).
It came with a fully stamped service book but all in Japanese. It had 71, 500 miles on the clock (now 72, 400).
I intended it to be my daily car, and so it has been very thoroughly overhauled by C6 expert Arnaud Lemasson (Citropro) as I wanted it to be dependable.
This cost over £6000, using entirely genuine Citroen parts: new cambelt, coil packs, spheres, both cam covers, battery, power steering pump, the VVT actuators, ball joints, air con compressor and more. It was fully serviced and Arnaud changed the gearbox oil four times until the oil came out clear. It was completed and MOTed in May 2023.
The underside is completely rust free and in amazing condition and so I decided during the recommissioning that the car was too good to be used daily. I have kept it garaged since but cannot justify running another car, beautiful though it is.
The Japanese spec C6 has a different infotainment system (there’s a good Petit Observations Automobile video on You Tube about it). This means there is a DVD/ TV system which I have not got working yet, and the radio picks up much lower frequencies than we have in the UK (so it can currently only pick up Radio 2!).
I was going to change it for a UK spec system if running it as my daily car but decided to leave as is once that plan changed.

Much cheaper road tax than the diesel C6 (around £340 per year).
It averaged over 29mpg when I drove it to the D rally this year.
