A beautiful Aston Martin V8 VANTAGE Lagonda with matching numbers is now on offer!
This car, with a history of famous owners including a brief ownership by Rowan Atkinson, was built on 24 July 1981 but did not see its first registration until a year later in 1982.
Originally built as an LHD, it was Mr. Atkinson, as the 3rd owner, who only had it converted to RHD, which it remained for over 20 years before being purchased by the current owner, Mr. Knap, who had it rebuilt to Aston Martin standards back to its original LHD configuration.
This rebuild also included a complete transmission reconstruction with all bearings replaced, a complete clutch replacement, minor bodywork repairs, and a complete repaint in Aston's signature 7-coat finish. Of course, all these repairs were carried out by only specialized mechanics, and only original spare parts were used for the repairs. The car has also been fitted with new tires.
Almost all documentation is available within the car's history, including service vouchers, invoices for each service, or a list of all previous owners. The future owner will also be pleased to find the original workshop manual and parts manual as well as the original jack.
The current owner of the car is Mr. Knap from the Czech Republic, a dedicated collector with a collection of several Aston Martin cars, who has now decided to give up this exclusive piece and find a new owner due to his interest in trying something new. - details above car is an incredible product of the golden 80s. It has been stored in an air-conditioned garage for the duration of my ownership and has only been used on occasional trips around the area with the local Aston Martin club. It is a beautiful piece of Aston Martin history with an untamed engine. My mechanics did a really great job on it and I honestly think the future owner is a lucky man!
