- details above; unexpectedly having to put back on for sale , was sold at 2150 inc delivery , but guy's dad taken seriously ill, so not happening....... Dealers asking double now for these. Can get one for 1500 but not in this sorted condition and mileage! Could buy one for 1500, then have to spend 700 on it and still not be as good as this one. Paint and plastics spot on. Lovely nimble bike to ride. Could easily do track days on this or just go on club runs etc.
Very nice example Ducati DS. Needs no jobs either. Sorted. Needs riding. New big crank Yuasa battery, fresh oil and plugs and filter.
Had new belts recently and checked inside covers to confirm.... have receipts, spare key, code card, original handbooks etc.
Tyres and chain are A1. MOT to June next year. Only on tad over 12K !!!
Termignonis still with baffles in, so nice sound and better breathing, sounds like Ducati should. Can take baffles out of course if you want to frighten the children, or if want to try and hide the clatter of the dry clutch basket in neutral! Had quite a few of the old carb Monsters, and all appear to share the same clatter. Duke riders are used to it, are even proud of it, but can be a shock to a Japanese bike enthusiast.
Can come to Leominster station and ride home or i can organise pro delivery for £120 to England and Wales. Pay cash or bank transfer or would swop if something interesting/ i fancy, even a project non runner etc. A Honda single with electric start be good swops.... Dominator etc.
Have done a bit of a paint to the normal engine paint deterioration, could have been rubbed down more but i have no patience with paint.
Bike is sweet to ride, handling and braking and Go departments are all excellent. Also has the added centre stand fitted.
I added the little header shield on as they do not normally have one, was only cheap but think finishes it off tidier. Fun to ride future classic bike.
