‘Clover’ is a lovely example of a Californian import. She drives well and has been extremely reliable. She had new barn doors about 7 years ago and most of the body was treated and sprayed with that fitting too. She had a new engine 5 years ago and whilst she has been a superb and popular wedding vehicle she is fully set up for camping and holidays. I could go into all the things she does and doesn’t have but I think all you need to know is that she has a lovely green and cream colour scheme both inside and out. She has few modifications which is part of her charm. She does have some issue arising on her bodywork but nothing too serious and no more than you would expect of a vehicle that is 60 years old next year. She could do with a little attention to the near side front floor pan. She is worth viewing and we’d be happy to show her to anyone who is serious about purchasing a camper.
Apart from the work mentioned above we’ve not made any modifications or changed anything about her since our purchase of her in 2012. It is a reluctant sale but we don’t use her and we’ve had to close our business for personal reasons.
We bought ‘Clover’ because she stole our hearts. She receives so many adoring comments from men and women alike. Only recently someone stopped us to say that personally he did not like Campervans but that Clover was lovely and would consider buying her if he could afford it
