For Sale 1999 Subaru Forester S Turbo AWD
Unique example of a first gen Forester and an extremely rare car in the UK being the turbo with 5 speed manual. Top Spec option at the time, full leather interior, heated seats, A/ C and panoramic sunroof. Everything works. Comprehensive full service history. First 8 services at Subaru dealership where the vehicle was first purchased, then by independent specialists. There are a total of 22 service stamps and current mileage of 71, 051. Vehicle has spent all of its life in London prior to my ownership and as such is very well preserved underneath with no rust to the underbody, though would probably benefit from undersealing to maintain condition.
Has been in my ownership since March 2022 and in that time has had the following:
Full service, new clutch, gearbox and rear diff oil changes, new auxillary and timing belts. Has a full set of Falken AS210 all season tyres which have been on for a year and done less than 3, 000 miles. Has genuine Subaru wheels. Electric windows and mirrors, heated seats, A/ C, panoramic sunroof.
Paintwork would benefit from some correction work, usual age related marks and some scuffing to bumper pictured and some damage on the bonnet scoop. Otherwise in very good condition considering its age. Interior in very good condition, slight wear to driver seat pictured. Gearbox sometimes makes a scraping sound if changing into 3rd gear quickly but goes into all gears smoothly. There is a loose connection somewhere in the audio wiring and sound comes in a and out, does come with 6cd changer and original tape deck.
Comes with MOT till March 2024 with no advisories. Comes with receipts for work done, original manual and full size matching spare wheel. Has been a family daily driver and totally reliable. Reluctant sale.
