Mercedes 300TE
Great example of a Mercedes 300TE with, in my opinion, the perfect spec. The 3litre straight six pulls like a train and sounds great doing it.
166, 500miles on the clock.
Finished in Bornite purple (it’s not brown I swear!) with a great interior combination of black leather and walnut. It’s really incredible the number of features this car has considering its age:
Fold out seats in the boot (7 seater), Electric boot locking, Heated front seats, electric windows and sunroof, dual climate control, electrically adjusted mirrors, electric seats with memory position and even cruise control!
I’ve owned the car for over a year and in that time it has served me as a reliable daily driver. Now that I’m back to the office I’ve had to get something a little more friendly on the miles per gallon so it’s time for a new home.
I don’t have a great deal of history for the car other than a very recent service and MOT but a viewing and test drive will tell you everything you need to know. In my ownership I’ve had the arches, front bumper and wings replaced and painted where rust was developing. In the recent service the exhaust was repaired and a leaking oil cap replaced.
Not so good bits:
The paintwork is showing its age in places with a lot of little stone chips and scuffs, as you can see from the images the car still cleans up really well.
There’s a slight knock from the front right when parking, I suspect it’s a bushing or rod needing replaced.
The rear speakers are MIA.
£5, 500 asking price, open to offers but no swaps.
