I’ve owned the car for a number of years now and was my daily driver up until relatively recently.
The MOT expired (as such, no MOT) at the end of 2021 and since then it has been kept in running condition. Unfortunately due to changes in circumstance it has been kept outside since the start of this year, and it’s starting to take its toll on the car so it’s time to let it go to someone who can look after it properly.
The car is undersealed, which was done a couple of years ago. However, there are signs of rust (see photos) along the sills and at each end of the frame at the wheel arches, as well as some slight bubbling of paint at the scuttle. The floor pan and boot appear in good condition, with no obvious holes. The roof would originally have been maroon like the rest of the car but it was painted black long before it came into my ownership, as was the engine change (as built they were 998cc engines). It has the original “Mini Thirty” steering wheel as well as original black leather with red piping seats, also with “Mini Thirty” labels.
It really is a lovely car and always turned heads wherever it went. with some love and attention it could be very high standard.
