Reluctantly selling my 1991 GMC Vandura (aka the A-team van).
This is a 7 seater day van, with a retractable back seat that folds out to a double bed at the push of a button.
In great shape mechanically with a 6 month MOT. Looks great externally, some rust forming around the windows that will need attention at some point, some of the seals around the doors are beginning to perish but looks great with body kit and low profile tires. Huge head turner.
All original leather / wood interior could will need some work to be brought back to its best. Original upholstry need a good clean / replacing potentially.
The carpets will almost certainly need replacing as very dirty (used as support vehicle for racing pontiacs by previous owner). Might be salvageable with the right cleaning equipment. All cosmetic.
All in all this is an amazing van, very unique American import and one of the best looking of its kind I've seen in the UK. Would not take much to get it looking its best.
Viewings welcomed. No time wasters please. I bought this from a friend just before pandemic, he was using it as past of a street food setup. He was also a mechanic so it was well looked after.
He bought it from his dad who imported it from USA to use as a support vehicle for racing pontiacs. He was apparently president of the UK pontiac club and also a mechanic.
It's a real American classic, clearly top end luxury vehicle in its day with luxury seats, TV (now missing), head phone jacks for each seat plus drink holders and ashtrays!!!
The rear seat slides forward and back electronically to make the boot bigger, or folds down automatically to form a double bed.
With a little cosmetic elbow grease this will be a dream van for the right person.
