One family owned from new until last year. As you'll see from the MOT history it was only put on the road when needed.
It has a huge service history including the original BRS lease agreement and then the bill of sale when the owner bought it out of the scheme.
The previous owner bought it in February 2022 and carried out the following:
4 new tyres, front discs and pads
2 new front lower arms and drop links
New radiator, fan switch, coolant temperature sensor, guage sender and coolant
New plugs, leads, dizzy cap and rotor
EGR blanked off.
I replaced the timing belt, aux belt and water pump in June 2022 with receipt from the garage.
Oil change twice a year.
New coolant header tank.
Drives excellent, it's no fireball but the engine is quite torquey and it's happy on the motorway. Very smooth with no knocks from the suspension.
Underneath is really, really clean, no rust at all, which is the reason I bought it. This is my 3rd Cav and by far and away the best one.
There are a few blemishes on the bodywork. The drivers rear arch looks to have been replaced in the past and there are a few bubbles.
The bootlid is from a 2. 0 and needs adjusted properly.
There is the slightest whine from the clutch release bearing but I'm being really picky. It's been like this in the time I've had it and hasn't got any worse. Clutch works perfectly, very light and smooth biting point in the middle where it should be.
Headlining pinned up at the back with bulldog clips.
Occasional fart from the ABS via the brake pedal if I haven't used the car for a while but it settles down, brakes work fine and no lights on the dash.
Overall this is a really nice example.
Located in Bonnybridge, Central Scotland, close to the M876 and I can collect you from Larbert Train station. Completely rust free underneath which is the reason I bought it.
