Toyota MR2 Mk1 - Restored in stunning Mica Blue!
This is a superb example, and investment, for those who know about these cars. Good examples are disappearing fast so good quality, rust free, examples are very sought after. Judging by some of the prices out there they are already increasing heavily in value. In 5 years this car becomes a classic so who knows just how much they will be worth then?
Bodywork - This has undergone a full restoration by Fisher Performance. The rear arches and sills were replaced alongside the bonnet. Full up bodywork restoration and then covered in its original paint, Mica Blue. From any angle it looks stunning and really turns heads. All the body kit is intact and the wheels have been fully refurbished. Beautiful!
Interior - Original time warp is the best description. Everything is still there from factory and no one has cut any unsightly holes for speakers ect. Every switch and button works and the original stereo is still plays the 80s. The seats and carpets are incredible and the overall smell and feel is 1980s. The car has the factory sunroof and still has the interior sunroof cover. Really great cockpit and makes you feel like your driving a special car.
Engine - Recommissioned by the previous owner it is a credit to him. Cam belt and tensioners where done around 100k miles. We put her on a rolling road to be sure and after a little tweaking the performance was incredible producing 125 BHP. You have to drive this car to believe it. All brakes were also done by previous owner with braided hoses. Great work.
Summary - Look at the others on here and compare. This car has had everything done and looks as good as new. If I'm being picky the steering wheel could do with new blue dye applying and a couple of very small nicks when it was put back together. If you are after a real true example to cherish, drive, and enjoy and keep as a investable classic. Then this is it.
