Description
This very rare matching numbers (only around 150 having been built) Indian Velocette Thruxton has just come to us from an existing customer. It is a very rare model but this one is even more unusual in that it was supplied new to Sweden (almost all went to Geoff Dodkin in the UK or the US) where it was used as an exhibit at the Stockholm Motorcycle Show in 1970 before being sold to its new owner. It stayed in Sweden until 2011 when it was purchased and collected by it last owner here in the UK. A very nice machine that starts easily and has a lovely mechanically quiet engine; runs and rides very well; just had new clutch plates fitted so the clutch does drag very slightly until fully bedded in.
