Alfa Romeo 156- V6 2. 5 litre Sportwagon Auto with glorious Busso engine – Registered Jan 2006.
Excellent workhorse and appreciating classic.
Lots of work done by previous owner from 7/ 2014 -6/ 2022;
Genuine Bosch MAF
Timing belt including tensioner and idlers (genuine Alfa kit)
Water Pump (genuine Alfa with metal impeller)
Auxillary belt including tensioner and idler (SKF)
Seals on cross pipe between water pump and thermostat housing (runs in the v of engine)
New filters (oil, air and cabin) (Alfa Romeo)
Radiator hose
Rocker cover gasket
Alternator voltage regulator
Front suspension upper and low arms (Brembo)
Rear transverse suspension links
Fit Bilstein rear shock absorbers
Fit new rear springs (genuine Alfa)
Front and rear anti roll bar drop links (TRW)
Replace front and rear wheel bearing (SKF and first line)
Fit good secondhand headlights with working tile motors.
Fit good second-hand fog lights
Replace key fob and repair micro- switches therein
Fit good second hand driver's door seal
Fit good second hand door mirrors
Fit replacement Bose speakers in two doors where they had been replaced by standard item.
Fit replacement Bose sub woofer in boot and standard alfa head unit
Fit good second hand front centre dash computer display screen (these fail as the heater blows round the unit and 'cooks' the LCD screen).
The car is solid underneath and bodywork in good condition although not perfect and alloys definitely need refurbishment.
Recent work; fitted thermostat housing, exhaust flexi pipes next to catalytic convertors replaced. Engine oil change.
Nice condition inside. All the displays work as does the CD/ Radio with the steering wheel controls. Q-System Auto gearbox works fine , with manual gearshift available. Sport mode really enhances the sound of the engine !
