Morris MM S8 (semi-sports) model with, sliding roof, opening windscreen and rear blind, in 2 doors / 4 seat configuration. Built in 1934 and registered in 1935.
Finished internally and externally in green. Both are in good condition (with a lot of originality inside) but some areas of the exterior could benefit from some tidying. Having said that, it is in very good condition for nearly 90 years old and does look great. No rust or rot and the woods are all in good condition.
The engine starts easily and runs well. The engine is an 847cc side valve Morris engine with 4 speed gearbox. maintaining the original 6V electrics (with starter motor). 6v indicator flashers have been fitted and use the original semaphore selector. They are fitted on removeable fixings so they can be removed once you are at an event to look completely original.
The brakes have been overhauled and now it stops very well, surprisingly confident in modern traffic.
The original registration has been removed but I can provide the details should you wish to look it up.
