This is a Yamaha XS400 (twin) street scrambler style bike that I sold to a friend a couple of years ago. He has now decided he wants a scooter so has asked me to sell this on his behalf. The history is that it was a lockdown project and the guy I bought it from had done a very good job of modernising the electrics and restyling the bike in to what you see. It runs real well and is now historic so no tax or mot required ( though it will have an mot at point of sale) and is free of ULEZ (handy in Bristol) Its very tidy and reliable, it had a recent run down to Weymouth and back trouble free. 80s bikes in this condition are rare and in my opinion this is a modern looking bike despite its age.
