1999 Subaru Impreza Turbo 5dr in red mica metallic. 128k miles, MOT until July 2024 ? more or less a completely standard, unmodified example. Only real additions are an aftermarket sigma alarm/ immobiliser with remote central locking and a Bluetooth stereo head unit. Has on some 17? inch wheels from a newer model WRX as I just thought the size suited the car better but I?ll include the original 16s in the price if the buyer wants them. Engine, gearbox, and clutch are all good, has been run on premium fuel since E10 was brought in. Air con works well. Overall, it drives really well and has been very reliable over the time I?ve owned it. Open to offers.
Good Points:
? Lots of service history
? Full thorough service done Oct 2022 at 122k including spark plugs, gearbox oil, diff oil, clutch fluid, brake fluid etc.
? Cambelt done at 110k
? 4 new Kumho tyres put on in March
? Lots of welding work done including sills and rear arches ? cavity wax applied to underside of chassis
? Bodywork is very good, not a single dent on any of the panels
Bad Points:
? Paint is a bit tired in some areas, particularly the roof spoiler where the lacquer is peeling. Front bumper also has quite a few chips and areas of flaking paint. Overall it?s not too bad for the age of the car.
? A few squeaks and trim rattles, the main one is from the front bumper bracket which is missing one of the bolts.
? 2 small areas of bubbling on the A pillars (see photos)
? Loose connection somewhere in the stereo wiring, most of the time it?s fine but will sometimes get crackling noise.
? Rear windscreen washer does not work, likely the line or nozzle is blockedOwned since Jan 2021, has been in the same family since 2016.
