Top Spec Model in Fantastic Condition
Drives very well and it has a fresh 12 Month MOT on it.
Mechanically very sound- Cam Belt/ Timing Belt replaced in 2021 with receipt available
Folder with some receipts / old MOTs etc
Very Solid car underneath
Bodywork is in my opinion excellent for its age. Arches and Sills all solid and inside doors all solid/ not holed. See video for walk around. You won’t be disappointed. Pictures genuinly don’t do it justice. The colour is stunning and it gets approving comments every time we take it out
If you are looking for a classic 240 look no further- the GLT in this colour is the best of the best.
GLT Interior in excellent condition too.
Seats are not burst or torn or collapsed.
Heated Seats/ Usual GLT Top spec:
- Sunroof
- Front/ Rear Electric Windows all work
- Heated Seats!
- Front Lucas Fog lights really set it off in my opinion (but easily removed if not your thing)
- Huge boot!
- Starts first time every time!
- Suspension is very good- no clunks, bangs or rattles. Brakes work perfectly.
- Auto Gearbox changes smoothly as it should and car sits happily at 75mph on a long run.
- Very good on fuel- I've always ran it on the Premium e5 fuel, but you can run it on e10 if you wish to.
- Radio removed/ never bothered me- I have sourced a replacement I can include if required.
- Wipers work!
- Door pockets are present and in perfect undamaged condition!! Nearly impossible to find, so I have removed them so they don’t get damaged! See video- they are on back seat.
All GLT trim and hockey sticks present. I have acquired some spares too. Lovingly owned by me for 3 years and is one of a small fleet of classics and only used in summer/ garaged/ chamois dried if ever wet.
Volvo fan family- one of 3 240s we have had and this one is by far and away the best. Purchased from a fellow Volvo owners club member before me and maintained regardless of cost.
All in all, a very honest and in my opinion excellent condition car for its age. Bodywork really is one of the best around with the best colour and interior combination.
Genuinely it’s a very very reluctant sale but I have too many cars and need to downsize collection. Strictly no offers- I don’t need to sell and would rather keep it if asking price mot met but I think it’s an absolute bargain at asking price. Get yourself a super reliable useable classic car in excellent condition!
