Description
A Toylander 1 children's battery powered car.
This is a child's electric car based on the Series 1 Land Rover at half-scale. Length 64", width 29".
It has twin 12v motors both acting through gear boxes and chain drives to turn the rear axle. The motors are managed via an electronic controller which enables smooth acceleration from a crawl to the top speed of 6 kph with forward and reverse motion. It has an accelerator pedal, foot and hand brakes, a key "ignition" switch and a removable safety isolator key.
The power comes from two 12v 33 amp hour sealed gel batteries with a charging lead permanently connected for the 12/ 24v AccuMate PRO Smart battery charger also provided. A battery state-of-charge meter is mounted in the car's dashboard.
The car has working front and rear lights, a horn and a realistic diesel engine sound linked to the motor speed. The sound generator has a volume control and on/ off switch.
In the cockpit are rubber mats and black vinyl seat squabs.
The car's bodywork is painted in Land Rover dark green with matt silver details and is in excellent condition.
The car easily carries two or three children or even an adult and two small children and the batteries comfortably provide a normal day's use.
