I am looking for sensible offers for my 2001 MX5 1. 8 S. She has been on a SORN for a few years, she'll need trailering away.
i have decided to sell her as i just don't have the time currently to attend to her and give her the TLC she needs, sadly.
overall she is in good order with low mileage for her age. She has rust in the usual places rear of the sills fronts of the rear wheel arches on both sides. i believe she'll need the front end looking at and may need some attention there. the engine is strong as is the gearbox.
the power steering pipework need replacing as it has corroded the brakes and tyres shall require replacing too. there is a small dent in the drivers door. There's a small rust patch near the stop light in the boot lid. This car will need work and time to be road worthy again. Could be a great winter project.. This is a two owner car with a service history and stamped service book, not always a Mazda dealer. unfortunately the paperwork the first owner amassed was lost by the dealer i purchased the car form. She benefits from full leather interior, heated seats, CD multi-changer in the dash. The paintwork is ok but shall benefit from a mopping as its was parked under a tree for a while. The wheels 16inch were referb a few years back and remain in good order.
