Description
This is a 2 door Cortina which seems to be very rare, it is the GXL model which was the model they used in the advertising when it was originally produced. It is running well, we gave it a major service last year, putting on new brakes, calipers, washers, seals and things like that. Has been driven very little in the last few years, still capable of breaking 100 on a private road.
Paintwork is in very good condition, mechaically everything that I know of is ok. One stain mark on the bonnet where somebody kindly set something when it was at a showThis car stands out from the crowd I have never seen another 2 door Cortina of this model and definitely not in this colour, the black vinyl roof with the copper finish is beautiful, I have been known to sport a set of mirrored sunglasses and go cruising. Not like a modern car, very old fashioned acceleration and very wayward steering when you're used to driving a modern car feels very strange
