We are changing to a Hymer motorhome which is now bought. This is the 'holy grail' spec of the T4 Californias, and regarded by many as superior to the later T5 / T6 variants in terms of build quality and comfort. It has the high output 2. 5 TDi engine and 5 speed manual gearbox with full time rare SYNCRO four wheel drive.
It was delivered new in Germany in Dec 2000 and all the original handover documents are present. It was imported to the UK in 2004 and registered with DVLA, and we have service history and documents from then onwards, including an English version set of genuine owner manuals.

Maintained and serviced correctly every year and with four new tyres this camper needs nothing and is ready to use, and has a number of upgrades including a nappa leather covered steering wheel (I found the original a bit plain), upgraded Victron12v power supply (the original transformers tend to burn out), every conceivable Brandrup accessory such as storage pockets, mosquito nets, upper child safety net, washing line etc.
The cambelt, water pump and crankshaft damper were all replaced in 2021 (approx 2500 miles ago)
The brakes were overhauled this summer including new discs and pads all round.
Both batteries are new within the last year - the leisure battery being the correct heavy duty type as per OEM.
There is no rot, it is completely solid underneath and always garaged. It comes with all its original documentation and two keys. Everything works, including ice cold air con (new compressor fitted this summer) and toasty hot cabin heater. Pop top in excellent condition and has a full set of thermal linings too. It has a tow bar fitted and a Fiamma bike rack.
