Desirable Super Viking with extra large pop top

Nice example of the Super Viking dating from 1976. Work has been undertaken work to the interior, pop top and bodywork and it’s now a very usable example. If you’re looking for a vehicle to take holidaying when the summer arrives, this Type 2 would be a great choice.

Last serviced April 2023 at VW Camperhause specialist, including new brake pads and engine oil/ filter. New heater cables fitted.
the camper is carpeted up front in hard wearing hessian which has been edged in red to complement the paint. The living quarters have also been recarpeted and all the flooring Is in good condition.
The pop-top now has new steel runners and striped canvas complete with windows
Boards have been fitted and the roof is insulated, but unfinished. Carpet will be included to finish the job off.
Front seats are Porsche. All the upholstery throughout has been trimmed in matching vinyl and is in really good shape

Securon seat belts fitted in the rear also to allow more passengers

Electric hookup with leisure battery and 240v sockets/ 12v sockets.
Finished in red to a good standard. Straight bodywork with good door fit and panel alignment. Some panels at the rear have been replaced since 2021
The lower sections of the bodywork all around the van have received extensive welding and fabrication
Some yellow paint (the previous colour) does show in places such as in some of the door shuts and inside the engine compartment
The sills are sounds as are the wheel arches. The bumpers are as new, so is the remainder of the exterior trim. There is some crazing to the glass fibre pop top but this is not especially noticeable.
The painted steel wheels are in good shape and are complete with hub caps.
