Up for sale is my 1949 Chevrolet 3100 v8 hot rod pick up
Imported from California in 2016 this truck has had an extensive build with no expense spared
BODY
The complete body was taken down to bare metal exposing what little rust the truck had this was then treated and repaired by a top body shop in norwich which now means the trucks is 100% solid
And is presented in a blue patina paint scheme
In the rear is a stained and aged oak bed which looks lovely
CHASSIS
The chassis was also stripped down to bare metal and painted satin black A genuine HEIDTS mustang 2 independent suspension front clip was fitted replacing the tired original front leaf spring suspension a manual steering rack and anti roll bar were also fitted giving the truck a better and more modern driving experience
In the rear is a genuine HEIDTS 4 link rear suspension set up with fully adjustable coil over rear shocks which also adds to a great drive and allows you to set the stance of the truck as you wish
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
Under the bonnet is a GM good wrench crate 350 v8 engine with edelbrock performance inlet manifold and carb which has covered less than 1000 miles since being installed this is mated to a fully rebuilt 700R4 transmission giving you a better motorway cruise this all sounds amazing with its full custom hand made stainless full exhaust system with flow master boxes
INTERIOR
Inside the truck is a totally re upholstered original bench seat
Dolphin gauges which indicate speed fuel/ oil/ temp/ volts all work as they should a genuine IDIOT tilt Column allows you to select a driving position which suites you a lokar shifter & billet steering wheel add to that hot rod look
All in all this is a very well sorted truck which has cost in excess of £35k to build using all the best parts money could buy no cheap copies this is a turn key drive anywhere truck which has been totally rebuilt re wired and upgraded to the truck it is today It’s an absolute pleasure to drive and wants for nothing I have loads of pictures documenting every stage of the build for any potential buyer please don’t hesitate to call or message for further info
