CHEVROLET 3100 Stake Bed Pick up Truck Known to be Only 1 in the UK and possibly Europe .
Built in 1957 at the factory in Michigan USA .
A Show- winner - Started life in Nashville , Tennessee USA spent the majority of of its life in this region.
In 2015 a gentleman and experienced engineer bought the truck in Dallas Texas and commisioned a complete a full nut & Bolt restoration with a new Crate Chevrolet small block 350(5. 7 LV8) coupled with a Ram- Jet Air intake and electronic igntion .
They upgraded the transmission with a 700R4 with a towing upgrade which is a smoother ride and has the abilty to tow .
She drives beautifully and sounds incredible with custom twin exhausts ( sounds awesome like thunder) .
Cruises at 70MPH @2200 RPM .
As the restoration continued the cabin was given a new full carpet , leather bench seat recommision and also the newly commisioned leather headline .
The cabin is stunning with a new period tilt steering wheel , vintage air con and great heating , also we have electric windows , period dial cluster, The interior is a great place to be and in fantastic condition . The stereo is an Alpine CD player, but could be upgraded with a period radio.
This truck has been dry state from 1957 to 2019 , when she arrived in the UK, and has been garaged ever since with a de- humidifier . The underneath is absolutely clean, No rust the chassis is all waxoil sealed .
It won awards at two UK shows in 2022 and 2024 it was a "Best in show and best custom winning truck.
The colour and the livery with "Hanks coffee shop looks amazing and with genuine coffee sacks loaded on the back . also has the USA flags .
Will fit in a regular double garage . Its a Historic vehicle so Tax exempt and MOT NA .
