FOR SALE - 2002 model year - Porsche 996 Turbo - Porsche Exclusive Manufacture and one of very few non-sunroof cars produced - C16 UK car.
I have owned the 911 for nearly two years, covering 4, 000 miles in that time with no expense spared, having fitted a new clutch disc and pressure plate, release bearing, dual-mass-flywheel, clutch slave cylinder and accumulator, rear main seal (RMS), as well as service items such as a Pentosin hydraulic fluid change, oil change, spark plugs and filters at a Porsche specialist, not long after purchasing the car at the end of 2021. Latterly, the transmission oil was changed last year along with the fitment of a new battery and starter motor. The left and right hand Turbo heat shields were replaced and a new MAF sensor fitted. In addition to the documented maintenance in my ownership, an extensive history file along with factory documentation and various other associated paper work will be supplied.
The car is currently fitted with a stainless x-pipe exhaust system, but should the new owner wish to revert to stock, the factory exhaust will be included in the sale. Similarly, the car is fitted with an Apple Carplay unit, but the factory Porsche PCM Infotainment unit will also come with the car.
Some of the factory specified options include; Sports Hardback Seats, cruise control, Bose audio, heated seats, mechanical seat adjustment, parking sensors, X70 pack, Becker Porsche CD Changer, Alcantara head lining and factory Hollow Spoke Turbo wheels. A previous owner has also had the desirable 997. 2 GT3/ RS shift linkage installed, which makes for a vast improvement over the standard shift action. Being a 2002 model year (996. 2), the car came from factory with the uprated chassis upgrades and the addition of a glovebox, not seen on the earlier Turbo's.
