Description
This 1960 DBD34 Goldstar is truly impeccable since having a just completed fully documented and photographed professional restoration to an amazing quality, like no other you will find, only road test mileage recorded to ensure everything works correctly.
This bike was originally dispatched to BSA Dealer W. Collins of Turo in April 1960, it is a genuine Clubman Goldie and everything you see in the pictures were factory fitted, original Dunlop Rims, Lyta Alloy Tank, Humped Racing Seat, Mudguards, tinwork etc all original items, the first owner was a BSA factory test rider, a known Goldstar expert & Isle of Man TT competitor, who also wrote a 2 page article in Motorcycle Sport magazine about MIRA testing Gold Stars, I have all the history for the bike throughout its life, the owner before me was an editor for Motorcycle Weekly magazine, he stood the bike up in 1969 and it didn?t turn a wheel for 43 years it just sat and festered.
This would be a perfect collector?s bike, it has all the correct paperwork and the history has been gathered with the help of the Gold Star Owners Club who can verify it?s provenance
Please genuine enquiries only !Fully documented history
