Frame stripped and powder coated in original colour.
Engine rebuilt with mild tune - I don't know exact specification but the engine is very smooth & pulls really well from low rpm.
Uprated engine oil cooler and lines including addition of top end external link pipes.
All bodywork and tank stripped and repainted in original colour with new decals applied. The paint finish is to or above factory quality.
New bolts, cables, service parts and fixings used in rebuilt including a number of upgraded aircraft specification Titanium fixings.
Mikuni RS carburettors rebuilt by Allens Performance. Notts.
Brake system rebuilt including all new disks , caliper seals, upgraded brembo master cylinders and goodridge lines.
Rebuilt switch gear & new battery.
New chain and sprockets.
New Tyres.
Basically every part of this motorbike has been rebuilt.

Yoshimura exhaust - Full Titanium system. curved tailpipe and welding is a work of art - Expense upgrade at circa £3k.
Yoshimura magnesium / aluminium clutch cover, generator cover, oil fill plug and camshaft end covers.
Yoshimura CNC machined foot rests and brackets including pillion foot pegs, gearchange & rear brake levers
Rebuilt forks with upgraded springs and Anti Dive bypass.
Sword heritage forged aluminium wheels. Top quality wheels made in Japan.
Ohlins rear shocks.
Custom CNC machined upper fork stanchion and bar clamp.
Renthal bars.
RCM Daytona seat.
Upgraded brake master cylinders & rear brake torque arm.
Custom CNC machined engine mounts.
K&N type air filters with carbs jetted to suit. 1983 model. Imported into the UK from Japan in 2019. Lots of Japanese paperwork with the bike for the Yoshimura parts so it looks like the rebuild and upgrades has been completed in Japan possibly by Unicorn Japan Co. Ltd. who are Katana specialists.
40547 miles showing but this figure is totally irrelevant as this motorbike has been subject to a full and complete rebuild.
Not a lot of history of the build other than paperwork for tuning parts used but the quality of the parts used and care with which its been rebuilt is totally clear from the photos and obviously the motorbike itself. Rest assured you will not be disappointed with the quality of this rebuild. Its top quality.
Goes, stops and handles very well for a 1980's bike. Impressive low and mid range acceleration and a fantastic but unobtrusive noise from the Yoshimura system.
TAX, MOT & ULEZ exempt.
Owning one of these bikes has been a dream since childhood and i have enjoyed riding it. Reason for the sale is that i am taking my car & motorbike collection in another direction.
