For sale is my beautiful 3L V6 Mercedes Benz SLK. This car has a rare green metallic paint and beige interior combination. First registered 28-12-2006!
I bought this car in May 2023 for the summer as is often the case with most SLK's and I have thoroughly enjoyed driving this car. It is fantastic. My intention was to keep the car as a 'summer car' however I have recently moved house and I am expecting a little one so I need more doors and seats.
Over the past 7 years of the cars the car has belonged to an elderly woman, an elderly man and a chap who only purchased the vehicle due to the F1 registration plate. I think this explains the low mileage over the past 4 years as well as covid probably. The car has done 5, 000 miles over 4 years!! The MOT mileages were: 2020 - 93, 246, 2021 - 96, 406, 2022 - 97, 248, 2023 - 98, 509. I'm fortunate enough to live near beautiful winding road to enjoy this car. It handles and grips the road superbly, it has lightening acceleration and cruises easily at (insert high mph here, I won?t incriminate myself) on the motorway and corners beautifully. If this isn't your first SLK you'll know this. If it is your first then I urge you to buy it and experience it; you won't be disappointed. The car has all the original Mercedes book pack and manuals, 2 keys, jack, spare wheel with locking nut key. The sound system is a Becker unit and sounds brilliant. Everything works as it should and there are no issues with the roof.
For the bad bits: You can see from the photos that the wheels are scratched. I bought the car like this with the intention of changing the wheels but I never got round to it. There are 6 previous owners but that is to be expected with what I would call a 'summer car'. The advisories on the recent MOT were: Brake pipe corroded, covered in grease or other material (front-rear) Brake pipe corroded, covered in grease or other material. Rear (centre) (Slight corrosion to rear subframe) Tyre worn close to legal limit/ worn on edge near side rear. Sold as seen, no returns. There is partial service history is from 2007- 2019, nothing after. Any mechanical inspection or test drive welcome. Do what you need to to ensure you're happy with it before driving it away! Open to sensible offers.
