It is with much regret that I am having to write this advert as very few E30's have survived in the condition this 325i has let alone with the provenance it has but alas, increasing home renovation costs means I am having to part with a car that I thought would make up part of my "forever" collection!
Registered on the 6th March 1987 to Orford BMW of Ruislip as a dealer demo, it was optioned with the following extras,

After approximately 3 months D945BBY was sold to its first owner who used the car for 6 months before trading it back in to Orford Ruislip which is when Mr Reginald T became its custodian for the next 35 years! During this time the car was always garaged at his home in Pinner Hertfordshire whilst being maintained exclusively by the local BMW dealers up until Reginald retired from driving due to old age.
The car has a comprehensive service history made up of many invoices, MOT's and the original book back with service book which makes for fascinating reading showing that D945BBY wanted for nothing throughout its life which has lead to it remaining in such fantastic condition.

For the next 8 years D945BBY was sparingly used covering very little miles between annual MOT's until Mr Reginald T stopped driving.
After I purchased the car I had an inspection 2 service, timing belt and all drive belts replaced, all fluids changed using genuine BMW parts all done by independent BMW specialist BMR performance.
For a 36 year old BMW E30 the overall condition of D945BBY is exceptional in all areas. The exterior of the car presents well with excellent condition paintwork, chrome trim and unmarked wheels.
The interior is in remarkable condition with no rips, tears or excessive wear to the pacific blue houndstooth cloth seats, no cracks to the dashboard or any damage or deterioration to any of the plastics.
The underside of the car is free of corrosion and like the topside of the car, is in remarkable mostly original condition with no ugly black underseal or poor repairs, just plenty of its original factory applied protective wax.
The M20B25 engine performs exactly how it should and suffers none of the issues a tired example can, the 4HP22E sports auto gearbox shifts smoothly and the chassis feels tight yet compliant.
All of the electrical items work as they should including all of the instruments.
It even retains its original dealer number plates, rear window sticker and tax disc holder!
To surmise, D945BBY is a classic BMW you can use and enjoy without needing anything other than routine maintenance, has an impeccable history and receives compliments wherever you go!
