2003 Classic VW Beetle, from the final production of the original air-cooled Beetle. Great number plate for a Herbie, 53 Bug. While much of this car is in excellent condition for it's 20 years, it requires welding at the door 'A' pillars base. Otherwise the car is all sound and original underneath sound original with no previous welding. Requiring various small jobs for MoT. The body and paint work is very good, interior is like new, floors still with shiny paint and no rust at all. Original 1600i engine at 88, 000 miles, and right hand drive. Selling at £3, 550 - a bargain - these 2003 Beetles generally go for £8, 000 - £10, 000 and usually left-hand-drive. P/ X swap with older classic. The original Volkswagen Beetle was produced from 1939 - 2003, so this car is among the very last. The total number of the original Beetles produced 1939 - 2003 is an incredible 21. 5 million. The majority of this car is in excellent condition, and so an easy project. A piece of motoring history.
