Hello and welcome to the sale of my 2000 Ford Mondeo ST200
This is a fantastic example and is still in completely factory original condition
The first owner was BT who owned it for the first 2. 5 years covering 66500 miles, I'm told it was a managers car as my friends father used to service it in their Cambridge depo.
The second owner was a private owner who owned it from 2002 until earlier this year and only covered 32000 miles in that time, keeping it covered in their garage.
I am the 3rd owner, in my ownership I've serviced the car including the plugs, fitted a new idle speed control valve and 4 brand new Toyo tyres have been fitted this week as the old Pirelli tyres fitted were 18 years old, this has transformed the ride.
The Imperial Blue paint work is almost immaculate par a few touched up stone chips on the front, as to be expected from a unrestored 98000 mile car and the interior is spotless too, It still has a BT Cellnet car phone kit fitted which powers up a old Nokia phone through the speakers.
The alloys have a few kerb marks but are far from rough as can been seen in the photos, the car has no rust, the sills look to be spotless behind the kit and there's no rust under the car other than very light surface rust as to be expected from any car, It looks to be covered in some kind of waxoyl or Lanoguard oil underneath.
The Air Con doesn't work, i haven't investigated it as it didn't bother me but other than that everything is working well.
There isn't much service history after 2005 but I'm led to believe the previous owner home serviced it, the old oil and filters were certainly in good condition when i changed them and not old.
If your looking for a very good example of an appreciating retro Ford to put away as a investment or to use for shows which isn't rusting away or hiding any problems then this is worth a look.
I'm only selling as i already have a Capri and prefer older cars if I'm honest, it's a bit modern for me as a toy!
