The Mk5 R32 was technically the third instalment of VW shoe horning a V6 engine into a small hatchback having previously done so in the Mk3 and Mk4 Golf. With a factory 250bhp and AWD these hot hatches can mange a 0-60 in 6. 2 seconds. The rapid changing DSG gearbox was an optional extra from factory to the tune of £1300. Very few manufacturers have been able to produce a small hot hatch that feels as luxuries as a super saloon to drive.
This blue example in more sort after 3 door version has been well looked after and has been with its current owner for a couple of years now. With just two previous owners, the only modification from factory being a stainless-steel exhaust system to bring some more of that lovely V6 noise out. Both interior and bodywork present well for the cars age with very few age-related marks. There are no mechanical issues to report and the car recently received a fresh MOT with just a couple of minor advisories. The front grille does have tow small cracks in it.
