* electric steel tilt/ slide sunroof
* digital climate control
* 6-stage heated and fully electric Nogaro blue alcantara / black leather with adjustable leg and lumbar support
* carbon fibre door accents
* rear window blind
* BOSE 6 disc changer with boot-mounted subwoofer
* a discreet removable towbar with full electrics are also included.
This is a real gem of a 3-owner car, entirely original and unmolested, presented for sale just as AUDI intended: any inspection is welcomed. This is a real gem of a 3-owner car, entirely original and unmolested, presented for sale just as AUDI intended: ECU has never been opened up (as tempting as it is to release another 50bhp with software alone!) Any inspection is welcomed: I am more than happy for it to be booked in at QST to be viewed up on their ramps should you so desire.
The car is MOTd until 10th April 2024 and comes with three original keys and two original key fobs, in addition to a fully-stamped service history book from Franklin Audi, Leeds, which dates all the way back to the original owner: the Franklin Audi dealer sticker is still present in the rear window. Also included amongst the wealth of paperwork are previous MOTs, tax discs and rare sales brouchures.
The cambelt has recently been changed (and stamped in the book) and in my ownership the car has recieved the following attention in order to maintain its excellent standards:
1) New A/ C condensor and re-gas (blows icey cold)
2) Brand new set of 255/ 40/ 17 Kuhmo Ecsta PS71's
3) Full health-check at QST (Haywards Heath), with rear brake caliper and airflow meter replaced: no other points of note / advisories found.
4) Bosch wiper blades (x3)
5) Fully synthetic oil and filter change
6) Private plate (included in the sale, or minus £150 without)
I'd dearly love to keep this car as it has proven to be a highly enyoyable, ultra reliable, rapid yet comfortable cross-country and motorway companion, but the desire to accelerate the progress of my SAAB 900 Turbo restoration means that this stunning URS6 really should be moved on to a new owner.
Points to note:
1) front wings have some bubbling on the lips (common to these, please see photo and video)
2) the back-lit illumination for the trip computer is innop (but can be read in daytime - please see photos / video)
3) the sunroof requires attention: it tilts on one side only, so I've instead simply enjoyed the lovely A/ C
4) expected stone chips to the front bumper/ bonnet and minor cosmetic marks here and there, all reasonable for an original 27 year old classic car and still presents very well indeed.
Other than the above, there is nothing of any significance, very impressive for a 27 year old car and bears testimony to how superbly engineered these Audi's are, and in my opinion the peak of Audi engineering.
Please enjoy viewing the video and for those serious buyers only, I'm happy to talk through the car at your convenience.
A cash sale is preferred, though I am a real lover of interesting modern classics (I also own a Delta HF Turbo) so I am open to a P/ X with cash my way: there is never any harm in sharing with me what you have!
This is a genuine car, presented honestly and from a private seller: viewing is very highly recommended.
On agreed valuation with Hagerty at £17, 000; price reduced from £14, 995 so my asking price of £12, 750 is firm: you will not find another like like this regardless of price: a true one-off example of this exceptional car.
Located in Shoreham-by-Sea, West Sussex.
