Here we have for sale my prised JDM Subaru Legacy (BL5) GT-specB in a super rare specification! Currently on 94, 001 miles (clocks converted to miles/ MPH).

MOT till 10/ 10/ 24, only advisories were for Lower Control Arm bushes (full lower control arms inc. bushes and ball joint now replaced with receipt) and for two worn rear tyres (now replaced with brand new Pirelli's matching the other two tyres which have loads of tread left!)

Imported to Oldham in 2019, first UK owner in Macclesfield then Greater Manchester - no time spent near the sea where cars undoubtedly rust, meaning this example is about as good as you'll ever find underneath, no rust!

Outstanding spec as follows:

- EJ20X 1990cc Twin Scroll Turbo.

- Keyless entry and start (both keys present).

- Radar cruise, yes, RADAR cruise - only one I know of in the UK, SUPER RARE! Set it and the car will drive up to the speed set, at the distance set, and will follow the car in front speeding up and slowing down as it does and will even bring you to a stop. Amazing system for a 2007 car! It's actually much smoother than a similar system I?ve experienced in a brand-new Lexus. This is the only one I've ever come across in the UK and is at the very least the only one currently available for sale.

- 'Si drive' selectable drive modes: Intelligent (eco), Sport, Sport# (Sport# unavailable until up to temp).

- Traction control.

- Auto with flappy paddles.

- Power folding/ adjusting mirrors.

- Power adjustable front seats (memory on drivers side).

- Android head unit and reversing camera.

- Auto welcome lights when approaching the car with the key.

- Steering wheel controls for onboard computer: trip, economy, drive mode display (with engine load display), range, S# selection, Radar cruise.

- Height adjustable Bilstein Coilovers all round - always run with coilover covers in my ownership to keep them protected, car rides beautifully!

- Genuine Work Meister Emotion 11R alloys - super rare and valuable! I've actually been advised by my local wheel and tyre shop not to let these go with the car as they're rocketing in value, but it would seem a shame to split them up from the car. All wrapped in matching Pirelli rubber either brand new or with lots of tread.

- Symmetrical AWD - mega grip from the AWD system!

- Auto levelling Xeon headlights.

- Dual-zone climate control, cold aircon!

- Fantastic Subaru 32J metallic black.

- Tinted rear windows.

- ISO Fix rear seats.

- ULEZ compliant!

- Rear wiper delete (rear wiper assembly will come with the car if wanted) as it makes the car look much slicker and isn't missed, strange for a saloon to have one anyway.

No doubt I've forgotten something... amazing spec even by today's standards! Does have a ?carmate? fob and system installed for remote starting etc? but I?ve never tried to use it.

Comes with:
- Original Subaru mats and boot liner.
- Original tool kit and spare wheel.
- Owners manual.
- Loads of paperwork/ receipts.

Available with additional set of WRX alloys with nearly new matching winter tyres (subject to negotiation - see one of the last photos of the car on these).

In my ownership it hasn?t used a drop of fluids! And in both my and the previous owner's ownership, the car was serviced with genuine Subaru oil filters and Millers CFS 10W40 Oil - widely regarded as the best oil for EJ20's.

On top of this, in the last 12 months, the car has had:
- New drop links all round.
- A new battery.
- A fuel filter (these are in-tank so never get done!).
- A wheel alignment.

Prior to this, the car has also had a completely refurbed turbo fitted. As some may be aware, the microfilters in the banjo connections on these engines can lead to oil starvation of the turbo. This isn't a concern with this car as it's had a re-con turbo and the micro filters removed.

On top of this, there are heaps of receipts from the likes of Autotechnica-Subaru, Import Car Parts etc... for parts and work carried out to keep it in excellent condition. This includes a receipt for remap at Autotechnica-Subaru for running on UK fuel and for a slight power increase (I'm told by the previous owner the figure was 280bhp which I can well believe given the performance!)

One slight bad mark against the car is the wear and tear of the dashboard covering, seems to be a theme with JDM Imports in my experience that the underside of the car is immaculate but the dashboards can be tatty, although the rest of the interior is excellent! I have looked into recovering or flocking but it?s never bothered me enough to feel the need to.

I?ve loved the car so much I even convinced the now Mrs to use it as our wedding car! (See photo of it ribboned up on the day). So will be very sad to see it go but it?s time for someone else to enjoy and get the best out of it!

Any questions or viewings are very welcome, Full V5 present. UK mainland delivery can be arranged. As of course, we didn?t receive the GT-specB twin entry turbo legacy on the UK market, this is a JDM import where thankfully the climate is much kinder to the underside of a car than it is here.

Before this car, I owned a UK Legacy BP5 which turned out to be somewhat of a rust bucket? (Subaru?s of this era can be known for rotting subframes, bubbling arches etc...) but this car is nothing like that! Absolutely immaculate given its age making it an absolute joy to work on! Only imported in 2019 so has spent most of its life in Japan (where I?ve found that people tend to look after their cars better?)

This Legacy of course has Subaru?s famed EJ20 engine configuration, don?t let the reputation of the more fragile, less economical and extremely road-tax-heavy EJ25 in the later cars put you off. The EJ20 is undoubtedly one of Subaru?s greatest creations! An EJ20X auto in this instance; a late iteration with variable intake and exhaust cam timing and twin scroll turbo. This example is pristinely preserved (not slapped with neon cooling hoses and engine disintegrating pod filters etc? like many Subaru?s of a similar age). Please see the photo of the engine bay showing how original and well-preserved this example is.

This is the facelift model which has no doubt aged gracefully as any other car out there, and regularly receives a thumbs up from fellow enthusiasts.

Gets attention from petrolheads everywhere it goes but is understated to those who aren?t familiar with the Legacy GT-SpecB (mere-mortals). The perfect amount of street-cred and a more sophisticated image than an Impreza; but better spec, more power and better drive make this a bit of a sleeper and a truly enjoyable driving machine! Oh, and its very practical, huge boot, very comfy and plenty of space in the cabin.
