Rigid frame Matchless G3L. Age related number (1948) Tax and MOT exempt. Owned by me for 8 years but I am getting a bit past it. Original, lovely "oily rag" patina. Speedo sticking, but lights, horn all ok. Even still has its tyre inflator. View near Exeter. I bought the bike, unregistered, from a local old fashioned bike shop. It was in the window and I couldn't resist it. The Owners Club confirmed the model and year and I obtained a log book. I love the old rear leaning timing cases. (They were changed to front leaning in the early 50's) With an upswept pipe, 21" rim and knobblies it could be used for pre 65 trials, if you are that way inclined.
