Beschreibung

This was bought as my Dad worked on them from new and subsequently bought one new at the time. I had the opportunity to buy this one for the sake of nostalgia and it turned out to be in fantastic condition, not just for its age but full stop.

Due to needing to rearrange my existing collection of classics, I have decided to sell this now.

It has undergone a restoration at some point in the past few years and externally is in great condition. The interior is fully original without damage, scratches or faults. The choke, original stereo and all guages are working fine.

MOT til January 2024 with no advisories. It does require a new fuel pipe from the tank which I will get done prior to sale. It has just had the gear linkage repaired with an improved fitting too.

This is a great timewarp of a car, fairly spritely for its engine size and surprisingly comfortable. I have been on a 200 mile journey in it without issue or complaint.

Heater, sunroof and all lights working fine. Currently being stored inside and covered.

Original handbook is present and I believe fully stamped - I will double check this and amend the listing to reflect.

V5 was issued to neighbour's property by mistake so I've requested a new one in my name and address.

Overall - a brilliant and fun car becoming increasingly rare and suitable for everyday use straight away. It has won several awards at shows and includes a box of spares, framed awards and other memorabilia in the boot including an accurate scale model. This was bought as my Dad worked on them from new and subsequently bought one new at the time. I had the opportunity to buy this one for the sake of nostalgia and it turned out to be in fantastic condition, not just for its age but full stop.

The Style model - it featured a radio and sunroof as standard. It was owned by a previous keeper's father since 2010 and then passed onto her, with a Talbot specialist and friend maintaining to the car to original standards. The result is a rare survivor of one of the last Talbot-badged cars. This one was registered in August 1986 and has had six keepers since. It has an MoT through to January 2024 and was last serviced in January 2023.

There's also four owner's handbooks, an owner's guide, dealership directory and service book, stamped up to 48, 000 miles in March 2000. There's also copies of L'Aronde (the magazine of the SIMCA Club UK), the Talbot Sports News newspaper from February/ March 1982 looking at the launch of the Samba, a framed photo of the car at a show, other event memorabilia, photos of restoration work on the car and workshop manuals.
