I bought this car from a dealer in March 2020. I have owned several Twingos over the years, having fallen in love with their sleepy but cheeky appearance. When we lived in France we bought a nearly new Silver Twingo, and when we came back to England we searched for one which we could 'care for'. Several years later we bought this almost identical car, which has been looked after, garaged and kept up with mechanically by a local Garage. The service history is all there incl. recent cam belt replacement. We have done very little mileage in the time we have had it, as can be bourne out by the MOT record. However, age is catching up with us now and we feel it is time for someone else to take over the caring for her. There is loads of Paperwork from the time the previous owner bought it new. (An Englishman with a residence in France). The down side is One alloy wheel has been kerbed , there are a couple of small dimples near the rear left hand wheel arch , and in certain light there are a couple of imperfections. It has the 16 valve engine, tyres are good, and drives as one would expect , slow by todays standards, but hey! Everything works. This is a cute little headturner. it will be an absolute wrench to see her go, but needs someone else to fall in love with her and look after her. She will, without doubt, appreciate in value , as there aren't many about, especially in this condition. Not only that, the new owner will find how versatile these little cars are.
