Decided to sell this lovely car, it's been our faithful second car but it just doesn't get used anymore.
It's in excellent condition for the age, paintwork shines up beautifully, please see photos. 8 months MOT. Nice being a 3 door too as most you see are 5 door. It runs beautifully, such a smooth engine, great sound, it has a cam chain so no need to worry about belts snapping.
Over the years we have owned a few Mk4's including the 1. 8 Gti Turbo and the V6 4motion, I can honestly say that the V5 is the nicest to drive of them all. Very refined, smooth power delivery and good weight distribution. Gears changes are all smooth. Being a mk4 it's very well made. Interior is in overall good condition, although the drivers seat is showing signs of wear. Tyres are all good and its just had a new battery.
148k but feels a fraction of the miles. We have maintained the car well and we bought the car from a very good mechanic who had maintained it with no expense spared for many years. They are starting to appreciate now, if I could store it properly I would keep it. I honestly don't think you could get a more comfortable, quality, rust free and reliable car with a long MOT for £1750
