Would make a really great recommissioning project.

? Increasingly rare on today?s roads, this German built factory spec Granada Scorpio is quite the find. This is an honest example with a little work could soon be in superb condition, and is the kind of modern classic that would be welcomed with open arms at any car show and create a lot of interest.
My wife's pride and joy, she just couldn't bear to part with it - hence storage for 14 years.
The Granada Scorpio was aimed at taking on the German Executive car market. A spacious 5 seater with lots of legroom for rear passengers. An excellent investment opportunity to recommission this increasingly rare top of the range big Ford.
Secure payment via Car and Classic required for purchase.
Meticulously cared for (as witnessed by the photos taken immediately before going into store in 2009). Comes with original numberplate.
Taken off the road as husband got a new company car.
A few issues existed but nothing major.
Oil leak from rocker covers-a common issue with the V blocks evidently.
Air conditioning refrigerant leak - probably a hole in the condenser due to a road chip.
Tacho reading incorrectly.
In 2001 a rebuilt auto box assembly was installed.
Last MOT shows 175 217 miles. The majority of the mileage occurred in the first 4 years of life on Motorway Journeys.
All the panels and paintwork are original and the car has never been in an accident. Full set of keys and key codes for radio/ CD/ cassette player.
A SORN is on the car and there is a current V5 logbook. The Service Book and Driver?s Manual are included.
The sale is on the basis of a ?barn find car? and due to the cramped nature of the garage no attempt to start or move the car has been made. The engine does turn but won't start because of stale fuel. The tyres will inflate. Collection in person.
Delivery can be arranged at purchaser?s cost.
