Description
1974 green Beetle converted into a van in 1980s/ 1990s using a Wizard kit. Hand built by my late father in law who was a mechanic by trade. Resprayed yellow in late 1990s. Engine runs smoothly. In general good condition. Was kept in a garage for over 20 years but the last couple of years it has been kept roadside. It is already LEZ compliant and am currently applying for it to become ULEZ compliant.
There has been 4 previous keepers including my father in law.
I inherited the vehicle in 2020 after my father in law passed away.
I do not know the service history of the vehicle. It was MOT'd in 2021 when we moved it from the garage and it passed. Due to it's historic status MOT is now exempt. Also Road Tax no longer needs to be paid for. The road tax is up to date. lovingly built by hand using a Wizard kit, so not many (if any) other models out there. If it wasn't for lack of storage facilities I'd keep it myself.
